About  The Artist,   Turner H.A.

I was born in England, UK and  have  been  painting ever since I could hold a pencil and brush. 

 

I have  pride in knowing that my Gt. Gt. Uncle is/was William Turner Of Oxford and being inspired  by his works  I couldn't see myself doing anything else. From thereon,  Art, to me has always been  an escape from the norm and gives  peace all  by itself.    Over the years I have completed many successful commissions and  I have also somehow managed to squeeze in paintings  for  friends.

I work   mostly in oil paint,  but also  sometimes chalk pastel  if requested  to do so,  covering a range of either landscapes, seascapes and portraits of humans and/or animals focusing completely  on the required detail.  It seems perfectly acceptable to work from photos issued from clients these days in stead of the long winded and time consuming 'sittings' from the past and this certainly works for me also.  I hope you find the time to take a look at
